She is a former critical care cardiac Registered Nurse who wanted to sell homes on the side. In
2007 she got her Real Estate license even though the “Fall of the Market and Mortgage Crisis”
was right around the corner, however that rigid industry taught her the virtue of caring for
people like a nurse would, holistically and with much patience. She quickly realized that even if
the housing market was severely depressed that there were still people needing a competent
professional on their side to help them navigate through it all. That “down market” would prove
to be beneficial for, Tammy as she quickly climbed to the top of the productivity reports in a
rather large office. This gave her the encouragement to know that once again, she was
following the path set before her and began to sell Full Time.

Tammy has lived in New Kent Co. since 1985 and helps many families in New Kent, Hanover,
Henrico, Richmond, Chesterfield, Williamsburg, Gloucester, Middlesex and Hampton Roads.
She is a member of multiple Multiple Listing Services.
 
Since then, she has pursued a course study and earned her Graduate, Realtor Institute (GRI)
designation which is the mark of a real estate professional who has made the commitment to
provide high level of professional services by securing a strong educational foundation
followed by the Seller Representative Specialist (SRS) and Real Estate Negotiation Expert
(RENE) designations. In 2021, she also got her Associate Broker’s license.
 
She and David have been married since 1997 and have a daughter, Darla Johnson who has
now gotten her Real Estate License and is assisting Tammy with buyers and their son, Patrick
Johnson is soon to graduate VCU with an Engineering degree. Her passion is Women’s
Ministry and she has been the Women’s Ministry leader at her church for 14 years now.
